AUSSIE: AUD/USD faded the bulk of its earlier gains into Tuesday's close, as
focus turned to a sceptical STAT report re: the results of the latest trial of
Moderna's experimental Covid-19 vaccine. That being said, the rate finished in
+ve territory, consolidating above its 100-DMA after Monday's break above there.
- The rate has crept lower still this morning and last sits -2 pips at $0.6536.
A fall below the 100-DMA at $0.6503 would clear the way to May 15 low of
$0.6402. Bulls need a penetration of Tuesday's high of $0.6585.
- Skilled vacancies & flash retail sales will be published later today, while
flash CBA PMIs & comments from RBA Gov Lowe come out Thursday.
