AUSSIE: AUD/USD last deals at $0.7133 after adding 38 pips overnight, as NZD's
post-RBNZ strength lent some support to the AUD, before SCMP reports suggesting
that Chinese President Xi will meet with U.S. Tsy Sec Mnuchin & USTR Lighthizer
on Friday generated further AUD demand.
- Bulls set their sights on $0.7143, which represents the 50-DMA, and a jump
above would allow them to target the 21-DMA/100-DMA, located at $0.7160/64.
Meanwhile, the downside focus falls on the Feb 7 high of $0.7117 and a break
below would open up $0.7092, which limited losses in the Asia-Pac session.
- RBA's Kent headlines the remainder of the week, when he speaks Friday.
