AUSSIE: AUD/USD sits a touch below neutral levels, last at $0.6897. Risk
negative stories re: U.S.-China tech rivalry & White House's plans to tighten
restrictions on Huawei are limiting the pair.
- The rate softened a tad on Tuesday, but the 200-DMA limited losses.
Intersecting at $0.6890 today, the 200-DMA provides the initial bearish target.
Below there would clear the way to the Jan 8 YtD low of $0.6849. Bulls need a
break above the Jan 13 high of $0.6920 to gain some impetus.
- Aussie housing finance data is due on Thursday. Chinese monthly activity data
& Q4 GDP also on the radar, will be released on Friday.
