AUSSIE
AUSSIE: AUDUSD has recovered from the early session lows of 0.7670, to trade
back at unchanged levels ~0.7685.
- AUDJPY's Friday low of 81.87 held, which helped AUD pairs move away from lows,
with little fresh in terms of fundamental news flow.
- AUDUSD support comes in the form of the 100-WMA (0.7634), followed by the low
from Dec 14 2017 (0.7630). To the upside, hesitation ahead of key DMAs between
0.7724 & 0.7828 remain a concern for bulls. Momentum has corrected to more
neutral levels but the slow stochastic remains very oversold.
- AUDNZD continues to trade around session lows of 1.0540, as the NZD
outperforms. Bears focus on the long term rising daily trend line off of 2015
lows (coming in around 1.0470 today). Accumulating resistance layers add weight
to the bearish case with bulls needing a close above Friday's high (1.0608) to
ease immediate bearish pressure.
