AUSSIE BONDS
AUSSIE BONDS: Aussie Bonds have continued their push higher and operate around
best levels, with 3-Year Bond futures trading at 97.795 (+0.5 tick), while
10-Year Bond futures trade at 97.205 (unch.), ticking higher alongside US Tsys
as Iran-Israeli tensions simmer, with reports of missiles being fired between
Israel & Iranian assets in Syria.
- The domestic 3-/10-Year yield spread operates at 60.9bp (+0.3bp) while the
AU/US 10-Year spread is 0.2bp tighter at -21.2bp, back from early session tights
as Tsys have edged back from session highs.
- 3-Month BBSW fixed 1.5bp lower at 1.940% today, with the white & red Bill
contracts last unchanged to a tick higher. Large buyside flow had been noted in
the front end of the strip in early dealing, with sources highlighting some
receiving in November OIS, probably in lieu of the "dovish" RBNZ.
