AUSSIE BONDS: Aussie bonds looked through local data, with retail sales
marginally missing exp. & ABS vacancies falling on a 3-month basis, as the major
contracts stuck to tight ranges.
- YM last -1.5 ticks, with XM -2.0 ticks. YM/XM deals at 39.5 ticks, with the
cash equivalent at 34.6bp. - Bills trade 2-4 ticks lower through the reds, on
light volume.
- Looking to the interbank strip there was some limited activity in IBQ9, but
nothing to write home about.
- The latest round of RBA repo operations saw A$550mn worth of 11-day ops dealt
at an average of 1.255%, with A$1.185bn worth of 57-day ops dealt at an average
of 1.220%.
