- Aussie crosses started to support (aud-yen/eur-aud), the rate managed to grind
out a fresh high of $0.7920 but with lack of follow through drifted towards
$0.7905 into the NY open
- As traders reported of a large seller in XAU, Aussie touched pullback lows of
$0.7899
- Broad based dollar pressure, following no comment by the FED'S Yellen on
monetary policy, witnessed the rate spike to a new intra-day high $0.7946.
- A further spike in XAU witnessed a fresh wave of Aussie demand with the rate
printing a new intra-day high of $0.7954.
- The pair fell away from its intra-day high of $0.7954 towards $0.7930. The
move has been reported as profit taking by model names.
- After Draghi's comments the pair had a quick spike towards $0.7950 which was
quickly reversed, as the rate fell towards $0.7930.
