ASIAN MARKETS, AUSSIE-YEN
AUSSIE-YEN: AUD/JPY has shed 11 pips and last sits at Y74.83, after posting a
leg lower, seemingly in reaction to a New York Times piece, which noted that the
White House considers a sweeping travel ban on travel to the U.S. by members of
the Chinese Communist Party and their families.
- Yesterday's low of Y74.74 has limited losses so far, a break below there would
open up Jul 10 low of Y73.98, followed by Jun 24 - 29 lows located in the
Y73.35-31 area. Bulls look for a rebound above yesterday's peak at Y75.28 before
targeting Jun 10 high of Y75.61.
- Participants await labour market data out of Australia, as well as China's
GDP/activity figures.
