UK DATA: AWE Growth Slows to lowest since Sep; Jobs Mkt Tightens Further

Headline earnings growth slowed further to 2.4% 3m y/y in the 3m to 
June, the lowest pace of growth in 11 months, driven by a fall in bonus 
payments. More bonuses were paid in the months of March and April this 
year, earlier than typically seen according to an ONS official. However, 
core wage growth remains strong at 2.7% 3m y/y. The labour market 
tightened further with unemployment falling to 4.0%, 0.1pp below 
analysts expectations of 4.1%. In line with survey data, employers 
continue to seek workers with vacancies rising 20,000 on the quarter to 
829,000, a record high.
