Azerbaijan in talks to supply natural gas to Croatia with consultations on how to deliver the gas already started, according to President Ilham Aliyev.

  • Azerbaijani can send gas to Croatia via Hungary or through Serbia, which is already buying gas from Azerbaijan.
  • Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro is currently supplied with Azeri gas via Hungary.
  • “It would be more realistic through Hungary” than the proposed Ionian Adriatic Pipeline, Aliyev said
