Azerbaijan’s Exports to Europe to Hit 12 Bcm in 2024

Gas exports from Azerbaijan to Europe will reach 12 Bcm in 2024, according to the country's President Ilham Aliyev, cited by Interfax Azerbaijan.

  • Aliyev said that Azerbaijan is moving towards the goal of exporting 20 Bcm to Europe by 2027.
  • Azerbaijan’s total gas exports are set to exceed 24 Bcm in 2024, Interfax said citing Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov.
  • Currently, Azerbaijan’s gas is exported to European buyers in: Italy, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, and Serbia.
