EQUITIES: Banks lead in Europe, Tech underperforms

  • While the Emini and the Estoxx futures are tilted in the red, the Cash Stoxx600 is still seeing a mixed session (down 0.15%), Banks lead with the index up 0.69%, and Tech sits at the other end of the spectrum, down 1.46%, as ASML fell some 3% on the Cash Open, on the back of US Imports Risks.
  • Emini is slowly drifting back towards 6100.00, although it did print a 6087.00 low Yesterday, which will be seen as the initial support.
  • While the futures contract has lagged Yesterday, Cash SPX, as expected managed to print a new record high 6100.81.
  • At current levels, the SPX will be set to open at 6082.2 in just over 4 hours.
