Bayernoil Heating Oil Deliveries Out for July

Bayernoil’s refinery in southern Germany is halting wholesale deliveries of heating oil through the end of July because of a fire earlier this week, according to a Bloomberg source.

  • Bayernoil’s halt to deliveries of 50ppm heating oil, which started Thursday, was originally due to last for less than 24 hours. That’s now been extended to the end of the month, the source said.
  • OMV AG has also halted deliveries of diesel and heating oil from its Burghausen oil refinery in south Germany on Friday, following reports earlier this week that its storage site near Munich faced supply disruptions according to people familiar with the matter.
  • Diesel and heating oil wholesale supply from OMV’s Burghausen refinery stopped early Friday. There was no further information given on how long supply will be disrupted.
  • Cracks have slipped back from earlier levels.
  • Gasoil JUL 23 up 2.3% at 737.25$/mt
  • EU Gasoline-Brent up 0.3$/bbl at 19.74$/bbl
