  • Brazil's central bank said Friday it will offer a currency swap auction of up to $500 million on Monday, its fourth consecutive daily sale, as it seeks to prop up the local currency. This will be held between 9:30am-9:40am Brasilia time, on top of the usual FX rollover swap auction starting at 11:30am.
  • Potential comments from Central bank's Campos Neto in Sao Paulo as he attends a meeting at Folha de S.Paulo newspaper at 12pm Brasilia time. On Friday, the BCB Governor said characteristics of the inflationary process in Brazil and concerns with inertia make central bankers more emphatic on 2022 for its time horizon adding that it's perfectly possible to do the job with the pace we are keeping.
  • A fairly light week for domestic data releases, with the highlight being September current account balance and FDI, scheduled for Friday.
