BCCh President Indicates Latest Inflation Data A Welcome Sign

  • Chile central bank President Rosanna Costa tells Radio Duna that recent consumer price data was somewhat lower and that policymakers have to make sure that it marks a trend of inflation easing toward target.
  • Costa added that Chile’s economy is more or less at the point when inflation is expected to start to slow down and reiterates that key rate has reached highest level in monetary tightening cycle (BBG)
