CHINA PRESS

The Beijing stock exchange will encourage high-quality SMEs to list this year in an upcoming policy plan, according to Yicai. The paper said Beijing lawmakers see boosting stock market liquidity as the main challenge, with policymakers also planning developments to margin trading and market price finding mechanisms. Experts said the government will focus on supporting small firms in the high-end manufacturing and information technology sector to seek listing and expand their access to capital markets.
