Bharat SPM in Sikka Port Hit by Vessel Sunday

The oil tanker Hafnia Seine hit Bharat Petroleum’s crude import facility in Sikka port, Western India in an accident late on Sunday according to Reuters sources.

  • The tanker was carrying gasoline-blending fuel known as alkylate for Reliance Industries' while the extent of the damage is not clear.
  • "It appears to have hit the peripheral structure of the single point mooring (SPM)," one of the sources said.
