Biden Passes Trump In Michigan; Maine's Sen. Collins Faces Risks

Quick President/Senate update:

  • Biden passes Trump in Michigan voting (49.3% to 49.1%, with 94% of est. votes counted, per AP), goes to 90% prob of winning MI on Betfair. Trump's prob of re-election at ~20%.
  • Also of interest, in Maine's Senate race, incumbent Republican Susan Collins still leads (49.5% to 43.7% with est 69% of vote in), but is now below 50%, which could trigger provisions under Maine's ranked choice voting. Per NBC: "The voting system lets people rank all candidates on the ballot. If no one wins a majority of first-round votes, then there are additional tabulations in which last-place finishers are eliminated and their second-place choices reallocated to the remaining field to assure a majority winner."
