Biden Pledges to Visit US-Mexico Border

US President Biden is to said to be planning to visit the US-Mexico border "at some point" in order to gain first hand experience of the entry of migrants into the US. The comments were made Sunday, although this week's schedule shows no plans for a border visit.


  • MXN saw some TRY-related weakness at the Sunday open, but has largely consolidated losses ahead of the NY crossover and looks to close the opening gap at 20.5135. Support in USD/MXN seen layered between last week's low at 20.2829 and the 50-dma which today crosses at 20.3535.
