- Despite diplomatic efforts, Hamas continued to launch rockets from the Gaza Strip overnight towards Israel, whose security cabinet approved further airstrikes while riots/clashes between Israeli and Arab communities in mixes Israeli cities intensified overnight.
- Israel's military said it killed 14 senior Hamas commanders and officials.
- Palestinian health officials say 65 people have died since Monday, including 16 children. Six Israelis, including one child, have died in Hamas rocket attacks
- PM Netanyahu, speaking late last night, said he planned to send in military forces to help police maintain order in cities ruptured by violence.
