Biggest Weekly Drop In Net Assets This Year

ECB

ECB net asset holdings dropped the most in 2022 in the week to Aug 5, with a drawdown of E6.7bln.

  • This was led by a fall in PEPP (E2.3bln) and PSPP (E2.1bln) holdings, as well as a sharp reduction in covered bonds (E1.7bln). CSPP holdings also fell while ABS were flat.
  • Large redemptions worth noting in the week: E5.0bln in PEPP, E3.3bln in PSPP, and E2bln in CBPP (ie gross purchases were positive).
