Blinken To Meet Zelensky In Ukraine

US

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken is set to travel to Ukraine tomorrow to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. The hastily arranged trip comes after diplomatic talks with Russia have failed to diffuse tensions on the Ukrainian border.

  • Following the Ukraine trip, Blinken will travel to Berlin, to meet with German counterpart Annalena Baerbock, who herself was on the road today meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
  • Blinken will then attend a meeting with the Transatlantic Quad: US, France, Britain, and Germany.
