BoJ Review Will Not Consider Tightening

Update on the meeting between BoJ Gov Kuroda and PM Suga at their meeting today. The governor indicated that that a policy review next month isn't aimed at scaling back monetary easing, according to public broadcaster NHK.

  • Kuroda reportedly told Suga that the review is aimed at sustaining monetary easing over a longer period, as opposed to tightening policy.
