Boluarte Approval Rating Falls To Single Digits in IEP Survey

  • President Dina Boluarte’s approval has fallen to a record low, almost one year after she took office, dipping into the single digits for the first time in an IEP survey. The approval rating registered at 8% in the poll published by La Republica newspaper on Sunday, her lowest ever in an IEP survey and down from a January peak of 19%.
  • Reports note that Boluarte also reached a record low in the Ipsos poll earlier this month with the survey showing a 10% approval rating.
  • The data docket remains empty until Friday’s release of November CPI where the annual headline rate is expected to further improve to 3.86% Y/y.
