AUSSIE BONDS: Bond futures track broader risk-off flows inspired by Trump's
China-tariff related tweets made on Sunday. YM last +2.5 ticks, with XM +5.0,
just back from the early reaction highs. YM/XM trades at 51.5 ticks, with the
cash equivalent last at 47.7bp.
- Bills trade 1-3 ticks higher through the reds, lagging the moves seen in
Eurodollar equivalents.
- Tomorrow is a big day for the space, with retail sales and trade data due, but
more importantly, the RBA will conduct its latest MonPol decision. OIS currently
price in a ~40% chance of a cut in the cash rate, with 14 of the 26 surveyed by
BBG looking for a such a move.
