AUSSIE BONDS: Bonds have moved away from session lows after official
confirmation that Japanese PM Abe's wife is embroiled in the well documented
school-related scandal in Japan (as was rumoured over the weekend and has long
been suspected). 3-Year futures last trade at 97.850 (-3.0 ticks) while 10-Year
futures last trade at 97.1925 (-3.50 ticks).
- The domestic 3-/10-Year yield differential last trades 0.3bp steeper at
68.7bp, while the AU/US 10-Year yield hovers around -8.8bp.
- The short end continues to come under pressure from funding worries & higher
BBSW fixes, white the white & red Bill contracts last 2-3 ticks lower.
