BTC Azeri Loadings Could Fall To Multi-Month Low

BTC Azeri loadings for February are planned at 578kbpd this month, the lowest level in eight months according to the loading program, but the current halt to exports from Ceyhan port could further weigh on loadings.

  • According to the January loading program, BTC loadings were scheduled at 578kbpd, down from 644kbpd in January. The February loading program, scheduled for every 8th of the month, has been delayed this month as the impact of the earthquake in Turkey is still being assessed.
  • Exports of Azeri oil from the Ceyhan port will be halted until late next week according to a note seen by Bloomberg.
