EGBs are holding onto their early morning gains, and extended higher, with better selling going through in Equities since the US cash open.

  • German 5/30s, although just off the low at the time of typing, have retraced back towards levels traded last Friday at 85.913 low, now at 86.81
  • Semi core have lagged behind today, as such peripheral spread are all trading wider against the German 10yr.
  • Greece is at the widest at 2.9bps
  • Looking ahead, still plenty of speakers on the Calendar, including Fed Bostic, Evans, Daly, ECB Schnabel, de Guindos.
  • For Supplies we get US 7yr $62bn
  • Jun Bund futures (RX) up 46 ticks at 172.63 (L: 172.15 / H: 172.66)
  • Germany: The 2-Yr yield is down 0.5bps at -0.717%, 5-Yr is down 1.7bps at -0.699%, 10-Yr is down 3.2bps at -0.385%, and 30-Yr is down 3.8bps at 0.172%.
  • Jun BTP futures (IK) up 13 ticks at 150.22 (L: 150.02 / H: 150.3)
  • Jun OAT futures (OA) up 36 ticks at 163.13 (L: 162.79 / H: 163.16)
  • Italian BTP spread up 2.6bps at 97bps
  • Spanish bond spread up 1.9bps at 64.7bps
  • Portuguese PGB spread up 2.1bps at 53.5bps
  • Greek bond spread up 2.9bps at 124bps
