BUNDS: Bunds followed the lead of broader risk related flows overnight and sit
just off best levels as European traders start to settle in for the session;
Schatz +0.5 tick, Bobls +5.0 ticks, Bunds +18 ticks.
- Italian fiscal matters and the ongoing tussle to secure the top jobs at the
EU/ECB continue to garner the most attention within the region.
- 10-Year Bund yields closed ~4-5bp off of their all-time low on Tuesday, with
EUR5Y5Y inflation swaps threatening to break below 1.30%.
- Focus today moves to domestic labour market data, the ECB's Financial
Stability Review, as well as addresses from ECB's Mersch, Rehn & de Cos. On the
supply front Germany will bring EUR3.0bn of 2024 paper to market.
