BUNDS: Futures broadly flat versus yesterday's cash close

  • Despite some volatility overnight when Bund futures hit an intraday low of 130.58 at 3:41GMT (Bloomberg data), coinciding with the time of the TY1 overnight low, and having moved to a high of 131.96 on their open just after midnight GMT, Bund futures are now trading at broadly similar levels to their cash close yesterday at 131.42 at writing.
  • This is despite TY1 futures in that same timeframe being 0-14 softer (and 0-27+ softer since their official close yesterday).
