CABLE: Cable recovered off its early NY low of $1.2777 Friday to a high of
$1.2842 before it settled around $1.2830 through the NY afternoon and into the
close. Rate touched an early Asia low of $1.2814 before it recovered back around
$1.2830 as Tokyo opened. Slow gains through the balance of the session saw rate
edge to $1.2843 into Europe. UK data this morning includes M4 money supply and
lending data, CBI Distributive Trades but overshadowed by the UK Budget (though
as Chancellor Hammond has warned, contingent on Brexit). Support remains at
Friday's low of $1.2777 ahead of $1.2750. Resistance $1.2840/50. Little in the
way of market moving Brexit comment from the weekend press but market will
remain on alert to headlines.
