then settled around Gbp0.9175 into the close. 
* Strong performance of Eur/Usd provided the main drive with cable struggling to
keep pace.
* However, cable traded up to $1.3115, dipped to $1.3062 before edging back to
$1.3107 ahead of close. 
* Early consolidation in Asia saw rate trade a tight range around $1.3100 before
fresh Usd pressure took it up to $1.3140.
* Pullbacks were cushioned at $1.3125, the break below Y108.00 in Usd/Jpy kept
upside pressure on into Europe. 
* Resistance seen at $1.3151(76.4% $1.3267-$1.2774), break to expose $1.3184. 
* UK IP/Mfg data 0830GMT, but fall out from ECB/Usd weakness to drive.
