CANADA DATA REACT: -1Q GDP -2.6% QOQ, March -9%. StatsCan doesn't provide
annualized pace in special Nowcast report Wednesday.
-March GDP -9% MoM, lowest on record since 1961. 
-Shatters previous MOM record decline of -1.5% in Aug 1973. 
-StatsCan created a nowcast-type GDP report to help assess the effect of
business shutdowns amid COVID-19, results are based on preliminary/qualitative
data on industry performance.
-Monthly decline driven by travel and tourism-related industries
-Health sector, food distribution, online retailing and streaming have been
growing. 
-Volumes of oil & gas extraction and pipeline transportation didn't fall
substantially, despite the oil price and investments decline.
