Canada Release Nord Stream 1 Turbine

NATURAL GAS

Canada is set to return the repaired Nord Stream 1 turbine to Germany according to a statement over the weekend. The turbine has been held in Canada due to sanctions against Russia.

  • The Canadian government statement out on Saturday said they would issue a "time-limited and revocable permit" for the turbine which has been blamed for Nord Stream 1 gas flows to Germany running at 40% of capacity from Russia.
