Capacity on the 350MW Estlink 1 power cable between Finland-Estonian will be reduced to 150MW over 8-10 February due to the Baltic isolation test over the period, latest Remit data show.

  • Capacity on the link will drop to 248MW on 8 February between 00:00-01:00CET before being lowered to 150MW over 01:00CET 8 February and 10 February 00:00CET.
  • The test is done to ensure Baltic frequency stability ahead of synchronisation with the EU grid on 9 February.
  • Capacity is lowered in both directions.
  • The 650MW Estlink 2 is still disconnected until 31 July.
