Q: Do you still see a softish landing is possible? How would you define that?

  • A: What's in the SEP would certainly meet that test. I do think we can do that. I don't want to be the handicapper here; that's our objective. Last few months have created great difficulty. It'll depend on factors we don't control; commod price spikes could take that possibility out of our hands. Will focus on bringing inflation down to 2% and have a sustainably strong labor market.
