China 7-Day LNG Demand Expected To Subside

China is expected to receive 17 cargoes comprising 1.16m mt of LNG in the seven days to August 10, according to OilChem.

  • This represents a fall of 12.78% from the 1.33m mt imported in the week to August 3.
  • Of the total, 0.40m mt is forecasted to be imported from Australia, 0.18m mt from Qatar, and 0.15m mt from the US.
  • China’s LNG factory inventory was 309,800 mt by August 3, an increase of 5.37% from last trading week, as falling prices dampened sales.
