China Diesel Exports Slip to 600,000 tons in May

Chinese diesel exports fell to 600,000 metric tons in May, a 10-month low but sales remained well above 2022 levels due to more generous export quotas.

  • China exported 620,000 tonnes of diesel fuel in April - down 56.9% from the 1.44 million tonnes exported in March
  • China exported 1.36 million tons of gasoline last month, the most since December and up from 820,000 tonnes in April.
