China Gasoline Output Up on Month but Down on Year

China’s statistics bureau data for May shows a fall in gasoline output year on year but a rise from last month.

  • Gasoline fell 8.7% y/y to 11.605m tons vs 11.055m tons in Apr
  • Diesel rose 15.4% y/y to 14.678m tons vs 14.266m tons in Apr
  • Kerosene fell 64.8% y/y to 1.522m tons vs 1.75m tons in Apr
  • Fuel oil rose 27.5% y/y to 4.091m tons vs 3.681m tons in Apr
  • Naphtha rose 2.5% y/y to 4.048m tons vs 4.035m tons in Apr
  • LPG rose 5.7% y/y to 4.251m tons vs 3.831m tons in Apr
