Impact from Sino-US Trade Row Controllable, according to China Customs official.
- A Chinese customs official on Friday downplayed the impact from the country's
trade spat with the U.S. even as he predicted a slowdown in exports.
- Still, exports in the fourth quarter may slow because of the trade row,
according to the official.
- Chinese exports to the U.S. in September rose about 14% Y/Y to USD46.69
billion, while imports from the U.S. fell 1.3% y/y to USD12.56 billion.
