China Plans To Raise September Refined Oil Products Exports

China is planning to increase refined oil products exports to 3.53mn tons next months, up by 9.3% from the planned August levels amid rebounding export profits according to Oilchem.

  • Higher exports will be driven by an increase of 83.61% month on month of planned gasoil shipments next month because of improved export profits.
  • In addition, some large refineries have plans to ramp up production next month as demand is likely to stay firm.
  • China’s July refined oil product exports totalled 3.6mn tons, up by 55.28% month on month and up by 109.31% year on year.
  • China has issued new oil product export quotas according to Platts reports, quoting senior officials from 28 August but volumes remain unclear.
