OIL PRODUCTS

China's refined oil exports are forecast to fall by 22.04% m/m to 3.29m tonnes in April according to OilChem. The planned exports are however up 44.17% year on year.

  • Exports of kerosene account for an increase share of 58% of the total planned exports in April, partly due to the global recovery in aviation.
  • The proportion of gasoline exports dropped to 17% in April due to a recovery in domestic consumption amid warming weather.
  • A second batch of refined oil export quotas could be expected as China's refineries will have consumed 70% of the first batch after April.
