CHINA: China will raise both gasoline and diesel prices by CNY170 and CNY165 per
ton, starting Thursday, the National Development and Reform Commission announced
on its website Wednesday. The adjustment is due to price changes in both
domestic and international crude oil markets, the NDRC, China's main economic
planning agency, said. It is the third time the NDRC increased gasoline and
diesel prices this year. The NDRC lowered prices in its last adjustment, on Feb
28, when it decreased gasoline and diesel prices by CNY190 and CNY185 per ton
respectively.
