China’s Fuel Export Quotas May Top 2022 Levels: JLC

China’s fuel-export quotas for the whole of 2023 are expected to be larger than in the previous year according to JLC.

  • The third round is expected to be issued early this month and traders have discussed a possible 10mn tons issuance.
  • In the second round in May, China issued 12mn tons of oil products export quotas.
  • Last year the country issued total fuel-export quotas of 37.25mn tons.
