China’s Oct LNG Imports Down 8% on Month: GACC

China’s imports of LNG in October totalled 5.17m mt, a fall of 8.42% on the month, according to OilChem citing data from General Administration of Customs of China (GACC).

  • From Jan-Oct, China imported a total of 56.25m mt of LNG, a rise of 10.79% on the previous year, OilChem said.
  • China’s exports of LNG in October totalled 86.6k mt, up 31% on the month. This takes the total exports for Jan-Oct to 0.704m mt, a rise of 39.71% on the year.
