China’s road congestion rose by 11% the week to June 19, taking it to 124% of Jan. 2021 levels, according to BNEF.

- While the rebound in traffic is in line with the usual seasonal pattern, the scale of the post-holiday recovery lags that of 2023.
- In 2023, congestion jumped by 27% in the week following the Dragon Boat Festival.
