Chinese Daily Peak Traffic Congestion Rebounds

Traffic congestion levels across China’s 15 largest cities has rebounded after a tumble last week.

  • The fall back indicated that the Chinese demand recovery may have been in reverse before rebounding over the past week.
  • Congestion levels in China in the week ending April 12 were up 27.5 percentage points to 134.7% of January 2021 levels according to Baidu data.
