Chinese Jan, Feb Crude Imports Rose 5.1% YoY

Chinese crude oil imports in January and February increased by 5.1% on the year to 88.31mn tons, or 10.74mbpd, General Administration of Customs data showed, supported by strong demand for travelling during the Lunar New Year Holiday.

  • Oil products imports in January and February rose by 35.6% on the year to 7.58mn tons.
  • Refined oil products exports in the first two months of this year were down by 30.6% on the year at 8.82mn tons.
