CNH Following Broader USD Trends, Onshore Markets Remain Closed Today

CNH

USD/CNH largely followed broader USD trends post the Asia close on Thursday. China markets were closed for a holiday yesterday, they return on Monday. Hong Kong markets were off yesterday, but return today. USD/CNH pair got to fresh highs above 7.2000, (highs near 7.2040) in NY trade, but we track back closer to 7.1950 now.

  • This left CNH 0.26% weaker for Thursday's session, close to the inverse of the BBDXY's 0.31% gain.
