Combined coal inventories at the four main ARA terminals were estimated at 3.44mn tons this week, up from 3.43mn tons last week – the lowest in 2.5 years, according to Montel estimates. 

  • Coal imports into ARA terminals in September stood at 2.6mn tons of coal, down from 2.82mn tons the month before and the highest since February, Kpler estimates showed.
